Introduction
I’m a Northern California native currently residing in mid-Missouri. In January 2010, I celebrated five years off of the street.
I write action-fantasy fiction primarily dealing with religion. Both positive and negative run-ins with organized religion have left me with a ton of unanswered questions about God (although I do believe in Him); my writing is how I deal with it.
I’m also the author of Universal Warrior; a free fantasy series revolving around the war between Heaven and Hell. You can check it out here.
I also write a lot of dark fiction; still mostly action-fantasy, but stuff that stays away from religion. I like to challenge the common perception of normalcy and bring to light things people would rather not think about. One of my favorite subjects is friends and family; how a perceived enemy can become one’s closest friend, and how the ties that bind us can also strangle us.
This blog is about life as I see it; dealing with type 2 diabetes, working in sales, being homeless, martial arts, being a father, and the neverending search for the American dream. I’m also a Christian and I talk about God. A lot.
Otherwise, I study martial arts, I’m an avid gamer, I like action, drama, and animated films, and I read military (fiction), suspense, and action novels.
