Introduction
I’m a Northern California native currently residing in mid-Missouri. As of January 2010, I celebrated five years off of the street.
I write action-fantasy fiction primarily dealing with religion. Both positive and negative run-ins with organized religion have left me with a ton of unanswered questions about God (although I do believe in Him); my writing is how I deal with it.
I also write a lot of dark fiction; still mostly action-fantasy, but stuff that stays away from religion. I like to challenge the common perception of normalcy and bring to light things people would rather not think about. One of my favorite subjects is friends and family; how a perceived enemy can become one’s closest friend, and how the ties that bind us can also strangle us.
I’ve been a type-2 diabetic since my late twenties; I write about dieting, exercise, and dealing with the disease in general.
Otherwise, I study martial arts, I’m an avid gamer, I like action, drama, and animated films, and I read military (fiction), suspense, and action novels.
