I believe, and I might be wrong, but since your kids were born in KS, you might have file for custody. Its not always the case bout the mom gettin custody. Just look at my case. I view prayer as God lighting the way to the end of your tunnel...you still have to walk it. :) It's as Morpheus said, in the first Matrix film; "I can only show you the door. You're the one who has to walk through it." Or even better, Qui-Gon Jinn from Star Wars Episode I: "I can only protect you. I can't fight a war for you." I believe you can pray for answers, for guidance, but never for Him to take the action for you. In the end, you are still responsible for your own actions, and you have to answer for them at the end of the day. To me, destiny is a decision fulfilled by action--or that God only helps them who help themselves. I do not believe praying solves problems, but taking wise action does.
